INTRO TO POWER YOGA

Sunday, September 13th • 10:00–11:00 AM • Connor Hall, Halfmoon Bay

Built for athletes. Designed to make you better at what you already do.

Intro to Power Yoga is a dynamic, strength-focused yoga class created specifically with active people in mind. Whether you’re a runner, lifter, bodybuilder, HYROX competitor, or simply someone who trains hard, this class will introduce you to the ways yoga can complement your existing training—not compete with it.

Expect purposeful movement, strength, mobility, balance, breathwork, and a pace that will challenge both your body and your ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.

Why add Power Yoga to your training?

🦵 Joint Mobilization
Move your joints through controlled ranges of motion to support mobility and help you move more efficiently.

🤸 Muscle Flexibility
Strength training and endurance sports can leave muscles feeling tight and restricted. Yoga provides opportunities to lengthen and release while developing active, usable flexibility.

💪 Recovery & Resilience
Learn how intentional movement and breath can complement your training and recovery, helping you create a better balance between stress and restoration.

🏃 Endurance & Body Control
Power Yoga challenges muscular endurance, balance, stability, coordination, and your ability to maintain control as you fatigue.

🧘 Calm Under Pressure
Breath is one of the most powerful tools you have. Learn to regulate your breathing and maintain focus when things get uncomfortable—a skill that translates directly to training, competition, and everyday life.

✨ Spiritual Development
Yoga is more than the physical practice. Through breath, awareness, intention, and mindful movement, you’ll begin exploring the deeper side of yoga and developing a stronger connection between body, mind, and self.

Is this class for you?

This introductory class is best suited to active individuals who are comfortable moving through a dynamic practice and do not currently have injuries, significant mobility restrictions, or other concerns that would require individualized modifications.

You do not need previous yoga experience. You simply need to be ready to move, challenge yourself, breathe, and discover how Power Yoga can become another tool in your athletic toolbox.

Come curious. Leave stronger, more mobile, more grounded, and ready to train.
